I came here after been a hearing aide user for over 10 years and always got my at Costco one particular time the i have a problem with the hearing aide i have and they told me the they can fo anything i fo have to buy another set because can no be fix at all and will take several weeks before i get the new ones A lady the work there in costco toll me to go to this location and i toll what was problem i have. They took the time to look at my hearing aides she fix theme at the spot toll me she doesn’t how long the will work because what hold the speaker in to the usual hearing aide was broken and didn’t charge me at all I figured it out this is the place u want to be. After twenty years of hearing aids, I have tons of experience to share. Abbott Hearing Aid, run by Julie and Boyd is in my opinion the best in San Diego. What impressed me the most is that they seem to truly care and spend the time with you! Offering thorough testing, followed up with lots of questions. Then they make suggestions, based on your needs, wants and budget. Time was never their concern and I don’t think anyone could offer their knowledge and friendly customer service. I have purchased two pair of hearing aids from Abbott and they have never fallen short of my post sales expectations. From the first time I walked into the office for an emergency repair just before a trip 5 years ago to now just finishing up my first follow up after getting my new aids Boyd and Juli have been the most helpful, knowledgeable and professional people to work with! Absolutely no pressure and only a focus on helping me with whatever I need. Juli is a wizard with knowing exactly how to tweak my aids and get the fullest benefit from them. After needing anotger repair on my aging aids Boyd offered to check my insurance to see what benefits I might have. He got back to me right away and said my insurance would cover all services with no out of pocket cost. We set up the hearing test and I now have an awesome new set of aids. They treat you like friends not customers and are a delight to work with! 5 stars is not nearly enough to show my appreciation and their worth!

Juli is the friendliest, most helpful audiologist you’ll find! They do free hearing tests, which were booking 2 WEEKS out instead of 7 MONTHS out at Kaiser. Afterwards, she showed me where my hearing loss was and at what level, then let me try on some hearing aids just so I could see what I was missing. No pressure sales at all! In fact they offer sort of a trial period for some to see if you’re comfortable with the brand. Boyd provides excellent tech support, and both are extremely patient, good listeners. Their office is easy to access, they offer a variety of hearing aids plus useful extras like TV boxes (they’re about 1”x2”, connect to your tv and stream directly to the hearing aids), their hours are convenient, and their smiles are sincere.
